Shelly M. Galvin, DDS
Dr. Shelly Galvin graduated from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 1990, and has been practicing in the area for the last 15 years. Each month she continues to learn more about the newest dentistry procedures to better meet the needs of her patients. Dr. Galvin also spent three years in the Navy stationed in Okinawa, Japan. In addition to her three kids, Dr. Galvin has three dogs and an Amazon parrot. When Dr. Galvin is not at Westwood Dental, she enjoys RV camping, volleyball, and cooking
Jacob Bocchino, DDS
Associate Dentist
Dr. Bocchino loves the vast array of procedures that denistry encompases and is very passionate about esthetic cases that restore confidence to patients.
When not practicing dentistry, he is an avid Chiefs and Royals fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He has a deep love for Chipotle and never says no to a ay at the lake.

Jenny S.
Office Manager
Jenny has been with our team since 2000, and she is a wonderful office manager! She is dedicated to her team and her patients, and she loves working in a practice where the patients are the top priority, and where there is great teamwork and dedication. Jenny strives for excellence in every aspect of her job, and she helps keep everything running smoothly. Jenny has three children: two boys and one girl. In her free time, she loves to garden and landscape, travel, and spend time with her family.

Human Resource/Patient Account Manager
Kari has been at Westwood Dental for 13 years. She loves her co-workers and patients. From 2003 to 2015 she has worded chairside with Dr. Galvin. After being gone for a few years, she can now be found up front and sometimes she can still be found taking care of you chairside.
She loves to spend time outdoors. Gardening and raising chickens have become her favorite home hobbies. She has two grown children. Now that her and he husband are empty nesters they love taking weekend trips.

Hygiene Coordinator
Stephanie joined our team at Westwood Dental in 2016. She lives her co-workers, the patients, and Dr. Galvin.
She loves cooking and baking. In the summer she enjoys fishing, gardening, and camping. On the weekends, she enjoys bartending as a side gig.

Kelsey has been with Westwood Dental sine December 2022.
She likes that Westwood Dental goes above & beyond for patients and that she gets to be the reason every new patient likes Westwood Dental. The close relationships we build with patients.
She loves to vacation to the beach as much as possible, spending quality time with friends and family. She has two pups named Louis and Onyx. She loves spending time outside exploring cool views of downtown KC, finding new trails to take Louis & Onyx on with Austin.
Kallie S.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kallie has been a part of our dental team since 2007, after she graduated from UMKC in 2006. She is licensed to practice dental hygiene in both Kansas and Missouri. Kallie loves working at Westwood Dental! She loves being able to see her great patients when they come in for their routine appointments. Over the years, Kallie has developed a great and trusting relationship with her patients, and she cares strongly for their overall health. After a patient comes in for their visit, Kallie likes to follow up with them from time to time and check in on them. Kallie is happily married and has a son who is three and a half.

Libby graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from UMKC in 2015, and joined our team in February 2018. She enjoys the patient-centered focus of our practice and our commitment to give our patients the best care possible, and loves building a rapport with her patients so that they feel comfortable and so that she can effectively help them improve their oral health.Libby comes from a large family of nine children, and has three wonderful nieces and one wonderful nephew. Outside of the office she enjoys reading, hiking, volunteering with her church, rock climbing and cheering on the Royals.

Suzy loves building a patient rapport with both adults and children. She enjoys talking to patients and hearing their stories. She is very much a people person.
She is passionate about being outside and active. She is heavily involved in advocating for the foster community. Enjoys sporting events, party planning, and spending her free time with her pups, Lemmon and Lokai. Proud mama of two very funny active toddlers and the definition of the “Cool” aunt to 12 nieces & nephews.
